The Massy Harbison Cabin standing in a woodland clearing at golden hour

New Kensington, Pennsylvania

ComingSoon

The Massy Harbison Cabin is being readied for the public. This is the story of a frontier home, the woman who survived captivity to tell of it, and the community bringing both back into the light.

A narrow woodland trail leading toward the Allegheny River

The Grounds

The same river, the same ridge line.

The cabin sits within walking distance of the Allegheny, where the water and the ridges look much as they did when Massy crossed them on foot. When the site opens, the short trail, the clearing, and the tree line will be part of every visit — the landscape is half the story.
